OOTD | All-White For Peace

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a celebration to commemorate 13 years of peace in Angola. It was joyous event filled with laughter, great food and entertaining dancing. I must confess it felt so nostalgic to dance to the sound of kizomba and kuduro. It brought me back to my days in Portugal. I missed those good vibes and positive energy that my fellow Angolans bring to their parties.

Fritanga Ango-Nica hosted the celebration. The event had all sorts of entertainment. From a saxophonist, to Brazilian carnival dancers, to a good DJ, delicious Angola cuisine and an open bar. It was the perfect way to celebrate Angola. A country that has gone through so much and is striving to persevere today.

Today, Angola is far from perfect but I have faith that it will get better. I love how Angolans have spread their wings and are traveling the world bringing their culture to places like here in South Florida. Their energetic vibes are contagious and nothing bad can come out of spreading that!

Overall the night was one to remember.

Love,
Sheyla ♥
