As you guys may have noticed I've been into wearing lipsticks lately. A different lip color is a nice change and I'm kinda liking it.

However I have not mastered this habit yet and at times I'm left with the question "what the hell am I putting on my lips?". Hahahaha... I hope everyone had a nice Wednesday.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments. I want to welcome the new followers as well.
I'm glad that all of you are able to go through this fashion journey with me.

FLAP SATCHEL | Jason Wu for Target (Find it HERE)

SUNNIES | FOREVER 21 (Find them HERE)

COLLAR PLEATED BLOUSE | Jason Wu for Target (Find it HERE)

Notice the beautiful details this blouse has! These photos really do it no justice. It looks much better on me than on this hanger - trust me.

And that is it! The weather has been amazing over here so I've been sporting the new sunnies quite often. You have seen me wear the chokers as well but I still have to show you all how I'll pair my two Jason Wu items! Look forward to it...

What's a girl to do on a Sunday night when she's bored out of her mind?
Experiment with make-up!

Please excuse my foundation on my face - I don't own one anyways.
I was playing around with the 120 Sedona Lace Palette and on my lips I have Bare Brown lipstick from the e.l.f mineral collection.

Enjoy my silly attempt..

I hope everyone is having a lovely Valentine's Day!
Even if you're single there's no excuse for not pampering yourself a bit today.
Go out and have fun with your girlfriends or buy some sweets and watch a romantic movie at home...
There are many things you can do; get creative.
However I'm still a firm believer that love and affection should be displayed on a daily basis!
So if you can't enjoy today you still have all of the other days of your life left to enjoy.
Don't be bittersweet if you haven't found a sweetheart yet.
Live by my favorite quote - "everything happens for a reason" - and enjoy your day.

Much love,
Sheyla ♥

I will never forget your angelical voice, your beautiful songs and your self-empowering lyrics.
You influenced my childhood greatly. I remember when I used to sing your songs
while thinking to myself "I want sing like Whitney someday".
The news that you are no longer with us are shocking but all I say to myself
to make things better is that at least you're in a better place now.
I will never forget you Whitney. Look over your friends, family and fans from up there.

May you rest in peace.

Hello fashionistas,

Yesterday I relaxed my hair and was very happy with my results.

If you're a new follower you don't know this but I'll tell you ...I'm going through this journey known as a "hair journey" to make my hair longer, stronger and healthier. I started my hair journey back in January of 2011.

This me in January 2011 (Left) and March 2011 (Right):

I have kept taking care of my hair by moisturizing it, washing it two times a week, deep conditioning it once a week and doing protein treatments once a month. With the help of websites like KISS and Hairlista I learned how to manage stretching - extending the amount of time before a relaxer - and overall care of my hair properly.

To finish off the relaxers for the year I relaxed on November 2011

*Note that my ends are curled here due to
the roller set I got at the hair salon.

My hair journey anniversary - Jan. 24, 2012 - arrived and I still did not relax then because I'm currently doing 12 weeks stretches. So after the 12 weeks passed I did relax and here are my results...

February 2012 (Left) and in November 2011 a day after relaxing (Right)

Overall I'm very happy with my results!

(Both Photos Were Taken Today Feb. 11, 2012)

I'm about 2 inches away from APL (Arm Pit Length)!

I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to grow out their hair or simply wants to have healthier hair to do a bit of research on ways to take care of your hair. A hair journey takes patience and lots of love towards your hair but its definitely worth it.

Today I woke up feeling the urge to dress in classy timeless pieces.

I think the Jason Wu collection has had quite an influence on my wardrobe lately.

I've been so inclined to pastels that I'm currently obsessing over cream chiffon blouses, light blue garments and navy or black pleated skirts.

What do you guys think of the Vintage trend?

What I'm Wearing:

Pink Bow Accent Top | GIFTED
Light Blue Cardigan | SAM'S CLUB
Silver with Gold Accents Watch | GIFTED
Navy High- Waisted Shorts | FOREVER 21
