The next day of our Caribbean trip we headed to Cococay Island, a private island owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. We boarded one of the tenders provided to get to the island and soon we were there. Once at the island we walked around for a bit to see what it had to offer. There was a market area, various barbecues, the beach, a nature trail and a water park (which we never got to visit).

For the most part of that day we were tanning by the beach or eating delicious barbecue while watching the beach contests going on at the time. To our surprise the water at the beach was too cold for our taste and not to mention too low (it literally reached our ankles only!) so we actually didn't spend much time in the water there.

I decided to wear my high-waisted shorts that day because they are convenient for a beach day. Also the more wear and tear they get, the better they look and the beach is perfect for that. In addition, I wanted the vibrant green color of my bandeau bikini top to pop and a chiffon shirt worked best for that to happen. And because it was sunny that day, I wanted to protect my locks from the sun so I chose to wear my straw hat as well.

On this day, my DSLR died quickly because I forgot to recharge it the previous night. Still, I hope you liked these glimpses of Cococay Island. If you're wondering what the beach or the view from the tender looked like I did manage to take some shots with my cellphone and posted them on my instagram (HERE).

At the end our day we were back on the Majesty of the Seas resting on the top decks.
