OOTD | HATSUME FESTIVAL

Today I attended the Hatsume Festival at my favorite garden Morikami Museum and Gardens.
The Hatsume Festival is a celebration of the spring season, where Japanese culture lovers gather and celebrate it Japanese-style. There are performances, Japanese food vendors along with Anime enthusiasts and beautiful flowers blooming.

It was a sunny yet breezy day, perfect for a spring festival. The key to successfully enjoying spring festivals is dressing appropriately. Because it was warm I wore this light fabric tank top and this minty skirt. I also wanted to celebrate Hatsume in the Japanese spirit so I picked out kimono inspired jacket to match. This jacket served its purpose well! Not only did it go perfectly with the celebration but it also kept me cozy when occasional breezes passed me by.

Did you attend any spring festival or will attend one soon?
